The works were originally scheduled to begin on Thursday. 

However, due to the recent weather conditions, the start date has now been provisionally moved to Monday 26 January 2026. This remains weather dependent, and the forecast for the coming week is not especially promising, so further changes may be necessary.

Once the works do begin, the closure is expected to last approximately 2–3 weeks.

A confirmed start date will be published on the Parish Council website and Facebook page as soon as it is available, although this may be at short notice due to the weather.
